Improving cancer care at University College London Hospitals

We are part of UCLH Charity, the official charity of University College London Hospitals (UCLH) NHS Foundation Trust, and are specifically dedicated to improving care for people with cancer being treated at UCLH. Our hospitals encompass some of the most vital cancer treatment centres in the UK, providing comprehensive services to diagnose, treat, and support people with cancer. Most patients come from North London, Hertfordshire and Essex, but as a specialist treatment centre for many types of cancer, the hospitals treat patients from across the entire country.

We provide support wherever it is most needed across these services, from funding staff training to research with international impact, in areas that the NHS would otherwise be unable to.

How do we support people with cancer?

We invest in projects which enrich cancer services at UCLH, improving treatment and care for patients, their families, and staff.

Our funding covers five key areas: providing advanced medical equipment, funding the latest research, improving supportive care for patients, carrying out refurbishments to improve hospital spaces, and staff training and education - all above and beyond NHS provision.

We work closely with the clinical teams to identify funding needs, helping staff to provide the world class cancer care that UCLH is known for.
